What to do in the Winter?!

The boys have been loving skiing this year- Jacob and Jonah are now in their school's ski program so they enjoy going every Friday for their lessons. Most Saturdays, Chad takes them up for a few hours to practice all they've learned. I'm hoping to join them! Last Monday night, we all went shopping as a family for Christmas gifts. The older boys went to get their ski clothes with Chad while I took the younger two to see Santa. Funniest things come out of our kids' mouths, right? As Santa asked Ash and Alex what they wanted, Alex replied, "An Ipod Touch." As if he knows exactly what they are! And Santa just gave me that "what kind of parent are you?" look and I would too...I was just as shocked as he was. They grow up too fast. And yes, Santa will be finding Option #2 for the little guy!

Jonah's turning 9 this Saturday! He always gets so excited for his b-day and we are too. He wants to take a few friends to "Airborne," which I did boycott after the whole Bentley thing, but I caved this year as that place is way too fun! It's a place I can keep all my kiddos happy and wear them all out at the same time....

So Airborne, we have been to more than a few times and have to say, quite the fun place. The boys love when I jump around and play tag with them- since I don't feel like I get a lot of one on one time with the older two, I have to take advantage of those "bonding" moments.

We also went to Temple Square to see the lights with Ang and Dan- super fun and neat- we even went on a carriage ride!

December is always busy, full of excitement! Wishing all of our loved ones a very Merry Christmas with lots of happiness.
