Halloween 2011

Such a fun Halloween this year! The kids are at great ages where they are still so excited to trick-or-treat and go see family and friends. Alex picked it all up so quickly as well and LOVED trickortreating...it was the best Halloween!
Halloween morning, I spent the day at the kids' school. The parade was awesome-and I was able to help out at their parties for they were all at different times...so much fun! The classic "mummy toilet paper wrap game" was a hit with the older kids. We reads stories, had a fortune teller and of course witches brew and donuts

That night, we went to Nana and Papa Rogers house, where Halloween is always celebrated in full force: nana Marsha loves Halloween: She is a fantastic "Mean Witch" and always makes us fabulous grub before going out to trick-or-treat, which the kids look forward to every year!

I'm not sure what Jake and Jonah were this year, but Walmart did us proud: one stop shop for me and we are all happy.

Ashley and Alex were so funny- of course the older boys loved going out and trick-or-treating but Ashley and Alex did just as much, maybe even moreso. I thought Alex would be scared, especially of Nana marsha but he wasn't. He was so funny and such a sport. We had a blast!

All the cousins stopped by at the Roger's and here's the crew:

The kids teased Chad because he didn't dress up and JOnah told him to just get a cane and a hat and be a "grumpy ole dad"! Chad just laughed and said, "I don't need any of that, I already am!" We went over to my mom's and dad's for a few minutes... the kids were anxious to get home and trickortreat around our house.

Such a great year! Not too cold! Halloween is definitely becoming my favorite holiday and am sad it's over...not quite ready for what that means: winter!
