What a week!

Last weekend, we headed to Cali for the Utah game- Rogers and Jones side both went and it was a blast! Even if the Utes lost this one, the company was so fun!

The gang (we missed Chels and Meg who deserve a huge pat on the back for doing their 1st Triathalon! great job pink ladies:)

On Fri, Sept 16th, The big day for Granite Grizzlies has come: our yearly school Fun Run for the school's fundraiser, which the PTA helps the kids raise money for a great cause: The School! We got many large and small business donate raffle prizes/or money and the kids raised money from their sponsors to run by grade- 5th Grade was first, Yahhoooo Jacob! He has so many friends this year and is loving his teacher. I'm so proud of his growth and motivation in school. And he is such a great brother, he quickly grabbed their hands and had the younger two run with him.

Then came 3rd Grade- GOOO Jonah! Alex wanted to "run" with "jo jo" and Jonah, too, is such a great brother. He is loving his teacher (s) too this year and is excelling in his class. He's our social kiddo- we love our Jo.

Each grade got a prize for the top fundraiser. It's hard when you have 3 that raise the same amount of money and with the odds, 1/3 won a prize, so of course, the other 2 are a bit sad. but that is life- Ash won the Kindergarten pogo stick, she could have cared less, when the boys cared so much, so she shared.

So much fun- So glad these kids are having a great year so far. Then, Alex and I ate lunch with Jacob and hey, school lunch has come a LONG way! It was fab.

Then, I headed up to Logan that night for the Logan Marathon, which started rocky- my hotel was booked in the wrong city for starters. My boys had wondered off to the neighbors without telling me and I missed my carpool up to Logan. So, I drove my butt up to Logan, got me a new hotel room (one room left), took the shuttle up to the starting line and ran that thing. Yes, it hailed, rained....i was starting to think maybe I wasn't supposed to run this thing- but I finished strong and learned: DON"T GIVE UP EVEN WHEN U WANT TO (for me to remember) Chad and Ash met me at the finish line and it was so neat. I ended up with my fastest time (only by 2 min) but it allowed me for a hopeful spot to Boston, which I will register for tomorrow! That is a lifetime goal of mine. I met many, many inspirational people while on the shuttle up the canyon-

THat night BYU vs UTAH and was that not soooo cool Utah kicked butt! We had a blast watching with our family/friends. Thanks to Chels and JEff for letting us come enjoy! I love my family and friends! xoxo
