Happy 2nd B-day Prince

Two years ago from today, I remember feeling unsettled- should I be induced with you? You were born right on your due date- but when we finally decided to be induced, labor wasn't progressing like I was hoping...

But a few hours after my water was broken, you were ready- and so ready that I got the epidural too late- at a 10~ so, I do REMEMBER your birth- that is for sure! And since I had the epidural too late- I was so shaky that I couldn't hold you for quite a few hours afterwards or I'd drop you....my blood pressure was way too low so they gave me meds to get it back up. Anyway, you came out healthy and with a loud cry, that is all that mattered! You have the most precious face! that cute little button nose- perfect blue eyes and a smile that makes our hearts melt! The first year or so for you was tough because of your constant ear infections! After your 2nd set of tubes a few months ago, you seem happier and more at ease. And, you are talking more clearly, which helps to know what you want, since you do know what you want! And that is a good thing- go after what you want, right?

We love your energy and laughter. You have a sense of humor- and even dance and shake your hips as music comes on. I can tell you will be the life of the party. And you love your brothers and sister as they love you so much as well and love to play BALL. ALL types of ball you just freak out! At the stores, I have to immediately find a ball so you will sit in the cart- Sports are in your future I'm guessing?!

I love that you give me hugs still and want me to sit by you when you watch your shows. You love ice cream and yogurt just like your mom, we bond that way. you also love your grandparents, which makes them happy:) It's fun to see you around animals, since you love to go to the farm with me and see your favorite Cows...

We love you so much, little man! You bring so much happiness to all our lives! Happy b-day! xox
