Easter Weekend- St. George 2011

Ready for some SUN and we got it down in St. George! Thanks to my mom and dad for letting us all come crash their place with them- Der- Grandma- Ang- Lucy - Jenna for some family time! We got it all in: "hiking", frog catching, swimming, Easter egg hunts, golfing (Chad), and much more. All was well, many memories made...the only set back was Little Man was up all night each night- so the last day, we took him to Instacare to find he had another ear infection...but the days were fantastic- nothing like seeing the sunshine after a long winter! Family snapshot on our "hike"

Ah-two of my handsome boys

The four of them ALL together:)

My four boys- Love them!

The two buddies- love this picture

Little man loves his daddy- he was so sweet and fun- just at night he was so sad til we found his poor ears. He's a trooper.

here comes trouble

Jenna showed us this cool "house" in the middle of the red rock, it had really once been a house with a fireplace and all.

Jenna was such a great helper- she is Doug's oldest and such a joy to be around. We even hit up the Arts Festival with Gma and mom, but my camera battery had died by the last day

My hubs let me go on my "long" run the first day, since the Ogden marathon is in a few weeks, the next day he met up with Shooter and got some golfing in...Love this man

Such a cool pic

We all love Grandma, she is younger than all of us put together- she has spunk! and my mom is just like her- she cooked yummy meals for us all, Thanks, mom!

Jake loves to cook as well. He learned well from his nana- Jake also spent most of his time catching lizards and frogs- fine but please don't bring another animal home:)

Chad and Jake remind me a lot of eachother with their frog/lizard catching! love those boys

And after the day time swimming and fun, we'd go swimming at the rec center at night...

LIttle Man went down the water slide for his first time and LOVED it!

Ash loved the waterslide with Mommy

ANd of course, we had to do Easter egg hunts.....

So, every trip has some funny moment or tragic of some sort, right? Jake was in his "go" mode of catching frogs and got all excited- he ran right into the screeen door just like a bird! As you can see, he actually bent the door almost in half. he was crying and then laughing. Sad and funny at the same time....needless to say, we had to buy a new door and have it custom made for nana. Poor kid!

Poor kid and funny kid all at the same time: watch where you are running next time, bud!

And my beautiful Ash in her new Easter dress, had to pose for me.

Happy Easter as we celebrate life, memories, family, friends and most of all, our Savior and his sacrifice for us. Love to you all!
