Jonah's Big Day!

You've been so excited, Jonah, to be baptized as a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Because we were out of town last month, February couldn't come soon enough for you! So proud of your decision and we LOVE you with all our hearts. You are such a joy to all of your friends and family...And so happy your dad could baptize and confirm you! You have such a great dad as an example to you of what a husband and father can and should be.

Your mom and dad love you!

I can't believe my son is already 8 and this day is already here. You make me smile, Jo.

Had to get the whole family picture- We tried to get one with everyone smiling, but there just isn't enough time in the day...

Thanks to all family and friends who came and enjoyed this day with Jonah! Nana Marsha gave an exceptional talk on "Baptism" and made this day so special for you. Uncle Mark's talk on The Gift of the Holy Ghost was very emotional- as he said this Gift was "the best gift you will ever recieve", which I agree. And all the kids sang along with cousin Sara, "I am a Child of God".
Hope you will remember this day for the rest of your life, son, and the feelings you had today.
We are so proud of you, Jonah!
That morning, Jake had a double header basketball game- Jake and JOnah are on Jr. Jazz teams, which they love! And we have so much fun watching their games. So after Jake's game, the Roger's family came with us to breakfast at our new FAVORITE place "Black Bear Diner"...and even a balloon man for all the cousins...

So fun to be with the Roger's family this morning since we haven't been together for a while- the cousins are so funny and crazy together. Lots of wild boys (and sweet little girls: all 2 of them versus 8 boys) Again, we are so lucky to have such great family- and friends:)

Go, Jake, Go!
What a great weekend!
