Baby cakes is just about walking....he went in for his year check=up (yes, very overdue) and doctor didn't seem too concerned that he isn't quite walking on his own...so, I am okay with that. Less running after him for me and his brothers and sisters are helping him out (as you can see) With Thanksgiving coming in a few days, I wanted to post a weekly adventure that I am really thankful for: the opportunity to visit Derek's work and exercise with his clients and co-workers. Many of them are confined to a wheelchair, or have health issues, but we still do breathing techniques with them. The others who are very mobile, I have had a blast teaching them yoga. Derek and his co-workers have a class every week that we practice together. and they are amazing people who don't get paid much, but they are so appreciative and so humble...
Each week I leave feeling grateful for my many, MANY blessings. Derek was honored at his work a few weeks ago for being such an outstanding employee. He gives his clients his all- we all love him and admire the person he is...

Below are the "medically fragile" where they are strictly confined to a wheelchair. But when I walk in, they all verbalize and love when I give them attention- they love anyone or anything new- my heart is truly touched by these people and I look forward each week to spending an hour with them- as I am reminded how blessed I am to have my health
Below- April's mind is brilliant- but she had a stroke and is paralized on her left side. She keeps us laughing each week with her jokes.
I am enjoying teaching yoga- both at the dance studio and to these wonderful people...
And yahoo- Thanksgiving coming up- my family is off with the Jones side to St. George, which we are so excited:) "An Attitude of Gratitude" is what Ashley told me yesterday, for she heard it at church- so cute and fitting for the season....
