Adventures

So Chad took the family hiking- Look how beautiful the mountains are. I LOVE this pic because it reflects PURE JOY. My kids couldn't stop talking about this hike. We live in such a beautiful place and we need to do this more:)

Jake and Jonah loved climbing from rock to rock- they were so proud of themselves.

Conference weekend, Chad, Megan, Robb, Alex and I headed down to St. George for the marathon. THe older three kiddos stayed back with my niece, Lindsay for a test run babysitting with her soon to be husband. They had a great time together. We had a blast in St. George- short and sweet.
The marathon,,,, it kicked my trash this year- I don't know what happened but at Mile Twenty-Two I was so DEHYDRATED my muscles seriously gave out. I hobbled, not walked but Hobbled my butt to the finish line. At least I made it, right? I still got an Okay time, but I will learn for next time to drink way more and probably rest more the week before. Here is my narly blister from my crap shoes...

Here I am BEFORE the race- all happy and such.

Here are the crazy BFF's that ate and ate and ate the ENTIRE trip...

So proud of how much they can pound. They are a blast to be with- Megs and Jigga.

I had to get a picture AFTER the marathon- I am still alive and smiled for a sec.

Megs was a trooper, getting up early, staying up late and did so much for me- like downloaded all these rockin' songs for my Ipod. She is the best. Thanks, Meg. Ready for your massage?

The boys were about to head off golfing befor ethe huge storm that came into St. George...

That night we went Hot Tubbin'. It was so relaxing and BEAUTIFUL with the red rock and stars. St. George is Gorgeous.

Alex hopped in for a bit and LOVED it.

Yahoo, what a weekend. And, then we went home to our sweet others for a huge hug.
