Here Comes Fall...

My babies are going back to school: Ashley was so excited to start just like the boys. She loves her pre-school and had to get a backpack just like her bro's. Even though the boys wouldn't admit it the boys were excited to start school- they LOVE riding the bus and eating lunch- and seeing their friends again.
Everything was going smoothly until Jacob realized his Hamster that he'd just purchased escaped and he couldn't find it- so hence the SCOWL on his face. He was not wanting his picture taken. Luckily, he had a smile when he came home from the First day and we did find the Hamster later that evening. The boys had great reports from their teachers on Back to School Night- I jsut wish they'd be better about letting me take their pictures.:)

Jacob started Karate and it is the best thing we have done so far. And it is STRICT- he has homework where he has to document how many times he must be asked to do something, exercise, listening skills, chores, you name it. He must reply "Yes sir" and "No sir". I love it- Below, he actually broke some wood only after a few classes. Impressive.

I don't have pictures yet, but JONAH decided to try soccer this year- he starts this Wednesday and hopefully he will like that better than he did karate.
Utah football season began- Chad is happy. Along with golf, he loves the games to de-stress and last weekend, I tagged along to a game. It was fun- just expensive to pay a babysitter for six hours

Alan is such a huge fan- and so is the rest of the Roger's family.

Chad and I got to sit in the back of the Forerunner, just like back in the good ole dating days.
One of the GREATEST events during this time of year is THE STATE FAIR...Finally, today, I took the kids (AND Jake talked my DAD into coming from WORK) it was a BLAST.
After seeing these animals and the smells, ahhhh, I considered writing off dairy and meat from the diet. Especially when the owner injected a shot of hormones into his cow right in front of us-

My dad was such a great sport- he paid for the activities and rides (THANKS PAPA) and he even rode the TRAIN with us

And we all had a blast. Last night, Chad took the older three hiking- the pictures from his phone are amazing. i will put them on here next. Life is busy and great around here- bring on FaLL:)

The State Fair looks like it was a lot of fun. My husband went to U of U, so he's a huge Utah fan too!
